The Architectural Intern will support the architectural team in the design and development of architectural projects. This role offers the chance to witness and participate in the conceptualization, design, and execution of architectural concepts, and to develop a deeper understanding of architectural practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design Assistance
Support in the development of architectural designs and models.
Assist in preparing preliminary sketches, diagrams, and layout plans.
Research & Material Sourcing
Research building materials, design trends, and architectural techniques.
Assist in sourcing materials and solutions based on design requirements.
Documentation
Help draft detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
Assist in the maintenance and organization of project documentation.
Site Visits
Participate in site visits to understand project requirements, take measurements, and assess site conditions.
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure design alignment.
Collaboration & Communication
Work collaboratively with architects, designers, and other team members.
Attend design meetings and contribute ideas and feedback.
Continuous Learning
Engage in mentoring sessions with senior architects.
Attend workshops and training to enhance architectural skills and knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills
Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture or a related field.
Familiarity with architectural design principles.
Proficiency in CAD software, architectural modeling tools, and design software.
Attention to detail and a strong visual sense.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
